This is not your typical elopement in Paris. This is the dream of a deeply in love couple, Amanda and Jeff, who wanted to have a casual and relaxed Eiffel Tower elopement in Paris. This is their story.
My name is Fran Boloni and I’m the founder of The Paris Photographer. A collective of talented elopement photographers based in Paris. Let’s dive into their elopement day in Paris.
We love to capture all kind of Paris elopements: royal, luxury, you name it. Even casual and relaxed elopements too. You choose the type of Paris elopement that fits your personality. The only thing that we highly encourage you to do is to start as early as possible your elopement day. Amanda and Jeff opted for a mid-day elopement and the light is a bit harsh in their pictures. First, let’s see the Eiffel Tower photos with big pink balloons.
Look, Trocadéro is a sunrise location. Yes, it offers the best view over the Eiffel Tower for your elopement photos. However, it’s the spot that gets crowded the fastest. We cover these details in our guide about photoshoot locations for a Paris elopement. This was the reason for which we started taking photos there and only after this part, Amanda and Jeff had their elopement ceremony.
If you wish to have a midday ceremony with an Eiffel Tower view you don’t have many choices to avoid the crowds. Either you go for a private venue, like a rooftop or terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Or you go down to the Seine River. This spot is secluded, you’re only seen by the friendly tourists passing by in tourist boats. Be ready to wave them as they congratulate you on your Paris wedding.
Amanda and Jeff changed outfits for the ceremony, but still kept it casual and relaxed. Except for the vows exchange part, when it got really emotional. Tears have been spelled, love was in the air in Paris.
The elopement ceremony was officiated by our lovely friend Chantelle, who is also a wedding planner in Paris.
The cool thing about Paris elopements is that after the ceremony you can stroll through the city and take romantic photos. This way, you have an elopement album that will remind you of this beautiful day. We would be delighted to be your elopement photographer Paris. See how we work. Click below!
The Tuileries garden is one of our favorites for elopement pictures, along with the Luxembourg Gardens. Between April and October (included), it offers a natural environment that is unique among other iconic outdoor elopement locations in Paris.
The last stop on the elopement photoshoot in Paris for Amanda and Jeff was the Louvre Museum. At this time (around noon) it was fully packed. So we searched for corridors without people and corners and embraced the sun. This way, the photos turned out real and still had this air of romance. We hope you love them as much as we do!
If this casual and relaxed elopement with an Eiffel Tower ceremony inspired you, we have more to show you.
